Summer Loan Request Form
If you are in a year round program, you do not need to use this form.Ìý Your Summer loans will be offered by April 30, 2026.
If you are attending in Summer and taking at least 6 units, you can request a Federal Direct Loan if you haven't already borrowed the maximum for the award year.
How to submit a Summer Loan Request Form
Student Forms allows you to submit documents electronically directly to CSUF.Ìý The link is below after the instructions.
Please review the following before continuing to StudentForms:
1. ÌýYou will need to register with your student information before requesting a Summer Loan Request Form. Once you are logged on, you may request the form by selecting the "Manage Requests" button, and then selecting the Summer 2026 Loan Request.

2. When requesting the Summer 2026 Loan Request, you will need to enter a brief explanation for the request.Ìý ÌýHere is an example:
3. Choose Download to complete the form.

4. ÌýOnce all the form is completed and and uploaded, click the "Submit" button, then the "Finish" button.

Recommended Deadlines for On-Time Processing
April 20, 2026 - if students would like to have their loan request reviewed for disenrollment protection prior to the beginning of the Summer Disenrollment Process on April 22, 2026.Ìý
May 1, 2026 - if students would like to have their loan request reviewed for disenrollment protection prior to the first summer payment deadline on May 4, 2026.
The first disbursement for summer will not be until mid-June.
The deadline for requesting a 2026 Summer loan is June 26, 2026 (Session A only), July 17, 2026 (Session D only), July 31, 2026 (Sessions B, C, E).
