Experience CSUF: Become a Titan is a transformative open house event where you, your family, and your supporters can dive into the Titan Experience and explore all that ӣ offers and get ready to discover the endless opportunities that await you! As you prepare to #BecomeATitan, you won’t want to miss the chance to:

  • Connect with faculty and students in your major and academic college.
  • Learn about the resources and support services that will help you be successful in completing your degree.
  • Check out the entertainment, student performances, and Student Org & Club Showcase to see what makes Titan Life unique.
  • Explore the campus on a guided tour led by fellow students.
  • Accept your offer of admission and receive ӣ swag!
  • Identify next steps for starting school in the Fall.

This is your chance to find community, feel connected, and learn how you belong at CSUF as a Titan! This event is NOT Orientation.

Event Day Checklist

  • Visit our Admissions Acceptance Center for personalized, onsite assistance in accepting your conditional offer of admission. Plus, celebrate this exciting milestone with a free ӣ t-shirt and lapel pin—available while supplies last!
  • Visit your Academic College and attend an information session to connect with faculty, engage in hands-on activities, and learn more about your academic program at CSUF.
  • Attend a Next Steps presentation, where you'll gain valuable insights and navigational support to ensure a smooth transition to ӣ!
  • Attend a Financial Aid presentation to receive information about FAFSA, CA Dream Act, scholarships, and more to make your Titan education affordable.
  • Tour the Campus on a 30-minute guided tour led by one of our very own Titan Ambassadors, offered in English and Spanish.
  • Visit the Resource Fairs to engage with staff, faculty and current students. Many departments can be online at the Titan Hub in advance.
  • Stop by Titan Shops to purchase your CSUF gear!
  • Enjoy Student Performances at the Becker Amphitheatre to check out what your fellow Titans are up to!

What to bring

  • Check-in QR Code - You will receive a unique QR code to check-in to the event in your email inbox. Take a screenshot of it so it is easy to pull up once you arrive on campus.
  • Refillable Water Bottle - There are plenty of water bottle refill stations across campus. All easily accessible stations will be marked on the event program you receive.
  • Attire - Activities will be taking place indoors and outdoors across campus. Please dress comfortably and accordingly.

Arrival and Parking

  • Newly admitted students and their guests may park at any Parking Structure. All parking locations are FREE for the event!

At check-in, students will receive an Event Program to help you navigate the event and a one-of-a-kind Titan Tote (while supplies last).

For those who accept or have already accepted their offer of admission, you won’t want to miss visiting the Admissions Acceptance Center located in Titan Gym to receive your Acceptance T-shirt and Lapel Pin congratulating you on your decision (while supplies last). Be sure to stop by the 360 Photo Booth to commemorate this exciting part of your Titan journey with a photo memory!

Where to Find Help

  • Event map- Use this site to click on locations and/or event details to learn more about all there is to explore!
  • Check-in & Information Booths - Booths will be located throughout campus and labeled with orange feather flags. We are here to help, so please let us know how we can assist!
  • Event Guides - All volunteers will be wearing bright orange t-shirts that say “Experience CSUF: Become a Titan”. They are excited to help you find your way around and consider what more you can explore!
  • Signage - There will be orange posters, floor decals, and flags all around campus to help you find your way around.
  • Titan Colors - Look for the following:
    • Orange - posters/signage, feather flags, and volunteer shirts.
    • White - CSUF Event Staff will be wearing white jerseys that say “CSUF”.
    • Blue - Titan Ambassadors will be wearing blue jerseys that say “CSUF”.
