Mission

The U-RISE Program at Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ aims to recruit, retain, and prepare promising undergraduate students with various lived-experiences to successfully pursue a career in Biomedical Science research.Ìý

U-RISE Events: Seminars and Workshops

  • The Visiting Scientist seminar for Spring 2026 was held on 18 March (Wed) at 4 PM in MH-513. Dr. Aaron Straight from Stanford University met with scholars and talked about his work on human centromeres. Click here for more information. Ìý

  • The Visiting Scientist seminar for Fall 2025 was held on 5 November (Wed) at 4 PM in CPAC-146. Dr. Rui Zhao from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus met with scholars and talked about her work on RNA splicing. Click here for details.
